Principal's Welcome Letter
Dear St. Boniface Families,
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year at St. Boniface! I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity and blessing to serve as your new principal. The calling to work with young children dates all the way back to when I was in sixth grade running Vacation Bible School at my church! I have always believed that children are our greatest hope as they often remind us of our call to be light and love for one another. As we look towards the new school year you will notice many changes, and with change comes the opportunity to start anew.
I would like to thank Mrs. Bacon, Mrs. Cooper, Mrs. Fayne, Mrs. Goldick, Sr. Ann Gorman and Mrs. Kampel have all literally moved or retired from their service to St. Boniface. The impact of their hard work and love is so visible and I want to thank them for their service to our students and the community. That being said, I’m excited to welcome the following teachers to the St. Boniface Family:
1st Grade – Mrs. Jodi Klaiss
2nd Grade – Mrs. Katelyn Guckiean (previously worked with our Kindergartners)
3rd Grade – Mrs. Julia Ellis
Art – Ms. Kim Vogel
Music – Mr. Kyle Conley
I have the utmost confidence in each of their abilities to carry on the tradition of love and enthusiasm St. Boniface teachers maintain about working with our students. Through all this transition and excitement, some questions remain. We will wait to make a declaration of plans regarding Covid-19 safety procedures until we get closer to the beginning of the school year. In the past, I have followed CDC
guidelines when planning for how to make sure we safely educate our kids. I will likely do the same this year so it is important that you follow closely to any and all communications from school.
Communication is key and it is a two-way street. I will be updating our website each week with news about the week ahead. Every Sunday evening you will receive an “All Call” automated phone call from me, please listen to it in its entirety and contact us if you have questions. Thursday Folders go home with valuable information regarding your students’ life at school, please make it a priority to thoroughly read and sign anything that we send your way. Keep an eye on the website, Facebook, your inboxes, and your mailboxes for updates in the very near future.
Again, I am SO excited to meet each of you and welcome you back home to St. Boniface! Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions. Have a blessed and safe summer!
“Mr. Paul” Ebert
