Principal's Welcome Letter

Welcome!
July 2020

Hello St. Boniface Parents and families,

It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed Principal of St. Boniface School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such hard working students, a dedicated staff, and supportive families and school community. I can already tell what a special place St. Boniface School is and am so blessed to become part of the school family.

I have been dedicated to the field of education for nearly 20 years. My most recent experience was as a Math Specialist for Cincinnati Public Schools. However, I have spent most of my time in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, as a teacher, assistant principal, and interim-principal at St. Antoninus Elementary. I am a firm believer in the value of Catholic education. Myself, my husband, and our four children, are all products of Catholic schools. I am excited and eager to bring my skills as an educational leader to St. Boniface School and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child’s success.

I want to acknowledge Sister Miriam and the excellent foundation she has laid for our school. I have been working very closely with her throughout the month of June to create a smooth transition. Her dedication, high expectations, and love of St. Boniface students and families, has been so evident during our time together, and I am grateful for her expertise. I know she will be missed dearly!

I view education as a life-long process and expect that I will continue to learn much about the uniqueness of St. Boniface this year and in the years to come. Along with the teachers and staff, I will work hard to continue to build strong relationships with parents, students, and community partners. Most importantly, I bring a belief that students are at the center of all school-related decisions and that communication between school and families is vital to the success of our students. My door is always open and I welcome your input. Feel free to call or email me with any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share. We will also continue to use weekly newsletters, as well as the ONE CALL, automated phone system. In addition, we have added some social media options in order to expand communication and keep you informed as much as we possibly can. Please follow us and help spread the word about the great things that are happening at St. Boniface School.

I look forward to meeting all of you! Enjoy the rest of your summer and I hope to see you soon!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Angie Heisel ~ Principal
